Join us for a discussion on the role of women in the First Intifada!
In cooperation with The Olive Brand and as a special edition of the Glashaus‘ Intersectional Feminist Bookclub, we will watch Naila and the Uprising. A Documentary following the stories of Naila Ayesh and five other women active as organizers, mothers, and workers in the Palestinian popular uprising of 1987-1993.
After the screening there will be an open discussion with academics and activists Maisan M. Hamdan and Lena Obermaier.
The movie will be in arabic with english subtitles, the discussion will mainly be in english, but switching to german will be possible.
